Nathan Graves Nathan is the hero of Circle of the Moon. He was chosen by Morris Baldwin to be his successor, thus creating a bit of jealousy with Morris's son Hugh. He wields the Vampire Killer as well as any Belmont has in the past, as well as having a wide array of magical abilities.

Morris Baldwin Morris, together with Nathan's parents, successfully defeated Dracula 10 years ago. He has been a mentor and tutor to both his son and Nathan. Though Morris loves his son, he has chosen Nathan to be his successor in fighting the evil count.

Hugh baldwin Hugh is jealous of his father choosing Nathan over him to be the successor of the Vampire Killer. He feels Nathan is too weak to use such a powerful weapon. Hugh's weapon of choice seemingly is his sword, which he handles very well.

Camilla Camilla has successfully raised Count Dracula early. This demon in human form is purely evil, and seeks the reign of her master to last for all eternity. She will stop at nothing to see the world covered in darkness forever.

Count Dracula Dracula was sealed away 10 years ago by three vampire hunters. He now seeks to use Morris's life energy to fully regenerate his missing power. He has sealed himself inside his castle, where Nathan must travel through to try and stop him.
